'I'm a Marvel fanatic, it's coming to Manchester IRL this year and I can't wait'
If you're a fan of the Marvel movie, there's an orchestral concert coming to Manchester that you'll love.
It’s time for Marvel fans to assemble as a Bridgewater Hall concert is scheduled for later in the year that will see music from 23 Marvel movies played by a full orchestra. Taking place on June 6, 2025, it’s set to be the ultimate celebration of Marvel movie music.
Fully licensed by Disney, The Infinity Sage Concert Experience will explore the first 23 movies in the cinematic universe. That encompasses the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and the first Avengers movies.
It will also exhibit music from the movies leading up to 2019’s Endgame, where the Avengers last teamed up as we know them. If you’re a fan of the Marvel movies, you’ll know that their scores are a huge part of why the movies are so popular with composers like Alan Silvestri working magic to bring the films to life.
Better still, the concert is set to take place in Manchester’s most prestigious music venues, which should lend itself well to the orchestral acoustics. Tickets aren’t on sale just yet, but keep an eye on this link to find out when they do.
As a fan of the Marvel movies, it feels like a pertinent time for Disney to throw a nostalgia filled concert. After the monumental event of Avengers Endgame, the series hasn’t quite managed to reach those heights once again, with reception from fans falling off massively.
It’s to the point where Marvel Studios only released one movie in 2024, a far cry from the three or four it was putting out in years gone by. In fact, half of the Deadpool and Wolverine runtime was spent making jokes at Disney’s expense about how badly the Marvel movies are doing these days.

As such, it makes sense for Disney to organise an orchestral concert such as this to remind fans of the glory days. With a new Fantastic 4 and the Thunderbolts movie both slated for release later this year, it could drum up some additional excitement and drive fans back to the theatres.
Orchestral concerts of this genre have become increasingly popular over the last few years too and, in my experience, they’re usually a fantastic night out. I previously attended a symphonic rendition of the video game Elden Ring at the Royal Albert Hall last year, with it being one of the best concerts I’ve ever attended.
Manchester is also getting a PlayStation themed concert later this year, with Co-op Live hosting an event to celebrate Sony’s long list of blockbuster video games. The list doesn’t stop there either, with another orchestral concert celebrating The Witcher video games at Aviva Studios in November.
As mentioned, tickets for The Infinity Saga Concert Experience aren’t currently live yet. Ticket prices for the London show appear to start at around £66, ranging up to £96 for seats nearer the front.
It’s likely that the Manchester show will follow a similar pricing structure. I’ll be sure to check back in with how to pick up tickets for yourself once they go live.
