'I've been wearing Marylin Monroe's favourite £33 Amazon perfume for 40 years'

Erin Parsons, a Youtuber and vintage beauty enthusiast who also works as a makeup artist for stars like Bella Hadid and Karlie Kloss, uncovered in a detailed video that Monroe was often seen with ArpeÌge by Lanvin. Through examining old receipts, 1950s interviews, and photos of Monroe's vanity, the connection between the star and the perfume is evident.

This perfume boasts an ensemble of notes that fuse to form an epitome of elegance. Initially revealing aldehydes, the scent imparts a clean, soapy fragrance complemented by lily-of-the-valley, peach, honeysuckle, neroli, and bergamot.
The heart flourishes with a floral burst of jasmine, ylang-ylang, Lily-of-the-valley, iris, coriander, rose, lily, geranium, and camellia. Anchoring these are the traditional but plentiful base notes: sandalwood, amber, vetiver, musk, benzoin, vanilla, and patchouli.
