'My partner pays me 'woman tax' so I can pamper myself it's the least he can do'

It's no secret beauty treatments can add up, but one woman thinks partners should foot the bill and pay for them - and urged women to "make a claim" to their other half for a payout.
Camilla thinks all women in relationships should do the same as her and says her partner pays the "woman tax", which covers the cost of her nails and other 'bills' to look good. She took to TikTok to reveal how her husband pays this fee every two weeks to get her nails and toenails done and said it's the least he can do for his wife.
Posting under the name camilla.and.family, the mum-of-two said: "My husband came up with the idea of 'woman tax' which he pays me every two weeks, and some of you were a little confused about why. So please allow me to break it down for you. Now since I met this man over 10 years ago, his body has remained pretty much the same."
She said while he has stayed the same, she has had to endure painful periods, look after their children and suffer sickness during her pregnancies and added: "My body has endured two C-sections, breastfeeding, mastitis, oh don't forget smear tests. The list goes on for miles, but I'm not going to bore you with it.
"Put bluntly, I have gone through so much simply because I am a woman, while my husband has remained exactly the same. That, my friends, is not fair. And my husband is man enough to recognise that it's not fair," which means he now pays for her beauty treatments.
Now, the mum receives a payment every two weeks to cover the cost of her manicures and pedicures. "But it doesn't end there. He also covers all of the household bills, my car, my petrol, you name it. You know what, girls, that feels like justice.
"If your husband or partner is currently not paying woman tax, I strongly advise you to get a backdated payment, put in a little claim. Trust me when I say when that period comes around you are going to feel so much better. Anyway girls, I hope that helps, go and get your bag."
The comments from viewers were a mixed bag, as one person said: "Annoyingly, I'm far too independent to not be patronised by this. You seem like a lovely couple and if it works for you that's fab!" Another commented, "I've been with my other half for seven years. This year, I still get 'girlfriend tax' pays for anything I want."
