And MMA promotion Dogfight Wild Tournament (DWT) decided to capitalise on the hype by hosting a Battle Royal of their own.
The Royal Rumble is famous for 30 wrestlers fighting it out in the ring.
The match starts with two superstars and the other 28 join the action every 90 seconds.
DWT did it with a twist as 10 men of all different styles, weight classes and categories entered the mat.
And they started fighting for real until two of them were left standing.
The finalists then had a proper MMA fight that was won by Alex “Killer” Quilez with a quick arm-triangle choke.
MMA fans were left in awe and some even urged UFC CEO Dana White to take note.
