If thereâs one thing Suits fans would love for the Los Angeles revival, itâs the return of Meghan Markle.
As the Suits LA cast celebrated the premiere of the sequel series in Los Angeles Feb. 20, they opened up about how they would feel if the Duchess of Sussex reprised her character. Prior to her time as a royal, Markle rose to fame while playing Rachel Zane for seven of the original seriesâ nine seasons.
Stephen Amell, who plays Ted Black in the series, teased Meghanâs possible return during an interview with E! News.
âYou never say neverâpeople come backâyou never know,â he said about the Dutchess of Sussex coming to her native Los Angeles for the show.
He added, âSheâs always welcome, of course sheâs always welcome.â

In the same interview, Gabriel Macht, who co-starred with Meghan in Suits and will appear in the new series, added, âI see any of the characters in the original show having an opportunity for doing what they do best to share their talents.â
In anticipation for her possible return, Suits creator Aaron Korsh is already working on an idea for Meghan to make her return.
âIf Meghan ever wanted to come back obviously the door would be wide open,â Aaron emphasized, noting that if the Duchess of Sussex were to return it would have to be alongside her on-screen love interest Patrick J. Adams. âLook, Rachel Zane is connected to Mike Ross so they would have to be together and Iâd have to put my brain to it.â

As Stephen put it, âThat was the character that I fell in love with when I watched the original.â
Unfortunately for eager fans, it may be a while before Harvey actually graces the screen, as Gabriel revealed he was about to start shooting his scenes.
âIâm having some flashbacks,â he gushed about the showâs star. âItâs all good.â
