Adapted from Owen Marshall's short story of the same name, The Rule of Jenny Pen follows arrogant Judge Stefan Mortensen (Rush), who experiences a near-fatal stroke and is sent to live in a retirement home. There, he meets fellow resident Dave Crealy (Lithgow). Crealy may seem mild-mannered during the day, but at night, he roams the home's halls and terrorizes residents with his doll, the terrifying Jenny Pen. With no help from the retirement home staff, it's up to Mortensen to take Crealy (and Jenny) down.
You can watch Jenny in all her frightening glory in the trailer above. And if she's not enough to convince you to check out The Rule of Jenny Pen, maybe you'll listen to Stephen King, who said in 2024 that The Rule of Jenny Pen is "one of the best movies I've seen this year."
The Rule of Jenny Pen hits theaters March 7.
