'The Traitors' Star Gabby Windey Secretly Got Married to Robby Hoffman
'Traitors' and 'The Bachelor' star Gabby Windey and writer Robby Hoffman tied the knot in a secret wedding after evacuating the Los Angeles wildfires.
Gabby Windey and Robby Hoffman are married after tying the knot in a secret ceremony following the Los Angeles wildfires.
Windey, is a reality star who has appeared in numerous shows, including The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Dancing with the Stars, and the latest season ofThe Traitors, while Hoffman is a writer and comedian. The pair spoke to Cosmopolitan about their spontaneous nuptials that took place earlier this year in Las Vegas for a total of $799.
It all began when the pair evacuated their home in Los Angeles amid the wildfires and ended up at a hotel in Las Vegas.
"It looked like a wedding suite," recalled Hoffman. "Gabby turned to me and she went, 'Should we get married?' And look: I’ve been proposing since the day I met her."
Windey then added that it was "nice" that she had been the one to come up with the idea. "Robby was literally ready to propose three weeks in and I’m always the one pumping the brakes, but when something feels right, it just feels right," she said. "I think it was better for the both of us that it was my idea. She kept checking in like, 'Are you serious?'"

Windey then realized that she did want Hoffman to propose. As she explained, she and Windey do the New York Times crossword every morning—for her proposal, she created a fake crossword. "I had a friend make a crossword," she said. "I gave him the clues and the answers, and I said it had to say, 'WILL YOU MARRY ME, GABBY.'"
The next day, they married. "Robby is really good at admin, and she found the same chapel that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, and Kelly Ripa and what’s-his-name—" Windey said. They quickly bought a dress and rings.
"Our wedding was $799. That included the limousine," said Hoffman. "That included the photos. That included the minister."

Added Windey, "It was literally the best night of my life. We were dancing, taking pictures. We got maybe 15 minutes flat with Reverend Nature."
After tying the knot, the pair learned that their home had survived the fires.
"We got so lucky. We really didn’t know how our house would turn out," Hoffman said. "All we knew was we had each other and felt home in each other."
It seems the pair couldn't be happier. As Windey explained, "People are like, 'How does it feel after you’re married? Does it feel the same?' And the answer is honestly no—it feels better. I feel more committed. This is my wife."

Hoffman and Windey have been dating since 2023.
Windey announced the relationship during an episode of The View. “I always just want to live my truth, and my story,” Windey said at the time. “And so I have been seeing someone for a couple months, and I’ve been keeping it a little more private because it is like a bigger story and a bigger conversation, because I’m dating a girl!”
Before her relationship with Hoffman, Windey had been engaged to Erich Schwer after her season of The Bachelorette. The pair ended their engagement in November 2022.
