This Morning's Alison Hammond tells fans to 'buckle up' in move away from ITV show
This Morning presenter Alison Hammond is set to get under the skin of some of the UK's best-known celebrities in her new BBC show.
Next month, BBC viewers will see beloved presenter Alison Hammond spend quality time with some of the UK's best-known stars in her new show.
Titled Alison Hammond's Big Weekend, the 50-year-old will give people a candid look into the private lives of celebrities, including Perri Edwards, Spice Girl Mel B, and Sir Lenny Henry.

While getting a glimpse into their homes, the This Morning star will delve deeper into their personal lives and history. The first episode, which will air on May 16, will see Alison and Perri Edwards head to the singer's hometown of South Shields.

A synopsis reads: "All six celebrities open themselves up to Alison, sharing personal revelations, fun times, and the occasional tear as they show Alison the people and places that have shaped them into the stars they are today.

Ahead of the new series, Alison has shared her excitement as she teased that there are some unexpected surprises along the way.
When asked what viewers can expect to see from the six-part series, she said: "Oh, babes, buckle up! Big Weekend is all about me getting celebs to have the juiciest, funniest, and sometimes most emotional chats.
"It's a full-blown experience! We're talking deep convos, belly laughs and spontaneous singalongs. From roller coasters with Mel B to ice baths with Jimmy Carr, this series is packed with surprises."

Although there are set to be laughs along the way, Alison shared that there are also some emotional moments where the celebrities open up to her, which she didn't expect.
The star added: "There's something about spending proper time with someone that makes people relax.

"We had some deep chats, some absolute screamers, and even a few tears. Turns out, a weekend with Alison Hammond is basically therapy!"
Other stars expected to appear on the BBC show include Jimmy Carr, Tony Bellew, and Luke Evans.

Alison isn't the only This Morning star with a new show as her colleague Dermot O'Leary is fronting a new game show, Silence is Golden.
Homed on U and U&Dave, the series allows the studio audience to win ÂŁ250,000. All they need to do is remain silent.
