“Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born” Goes Out On Top, Dominating Most Buzzworthy Drama And Actor Rankings In Final Week
In its final week on air, tvN’s “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born” successfully held onto its spot at the top of the list of most buzzworthy dramas—wrapping up a perfect six-week streak at No. 1!
Ever since its premiere in October, the hit drama has consistently topped Good Data Corporation’s rankings of each week’s most buzzworthy dramas, and its final week proved no exception.
Not only did “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born” remain No. 1 on the list of most buzzworthy dramas, but its star Kim Tae Ri also defended her position at No. 1 on the list of most buzzworthy drama cast members. Other “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born” actors who made this week’s list include Jung Eun Chae (at No. 5), Shin Ye Eun (No. 8), and Woo Davi (No. 10).
SBS’s “The Fiery Priest 2” maintained its position at No. 2 on the drama list this week, while star Kim Nam Gil remained No. 4 on the actor list.
MBC’s “Doubt” also held onto its spot at No. 3 on the drama list in its own final week on air.
JTBC’s “Family by Choice” stayed strong at No. 4 on the drama list, while its leads claimed three of the top six spots on this week’s actor list: Jung Chaeyeon shot to No. 2, Hwang In Youp to No. 3, and Bae Hyeon Seong to No. 6.
JTBC’s “A Virtuous Business” held steady at No. 5 on the drama list in its final week, with stars Kim Sung Ryung and Kim So Yeon ranking No. 7 and No. 9 on the actor list.
Finally, Channel A’s new rom-com “Marry YOU” debuted at No. 10 on this week’s drama list.
