The first half came to a close, with the Eagles having dominated the Chiefs 24-0 and everyone's attention shifted to Lamar.
With more than 100 million people watching, the 22-time Grammy Award-winning artist put on a halftime show that left everyone with their jaws on the floor.
His performance included SZA, with surprise appearances by Samuel L. Jackson, Serena Williams and Mustard.
Lamar's halftime show left the audience and viewers making the same joke at the expense of Patrick Mahomes and the Chief's incompetency in the first half.

The all-world Williams appeared for less than five seconds, but she captured the nation's attention with her surprise cameo and crip-walking skills.
The choice to bust out the dance move, created by first-generation Crip member Robert 'Sugar Bear' Jackson in the 1970s, was especially significant.
“Man I did not crip walk like that at Wimbledon, I would’ve been fined,” Williams joked in a video she shared on social media.
The tennis icon was referencing the reaction to the outrage surrounding her dancing on Wimbeldon's grass court after Maria Sharapova in the gold medal match at the London 2012 Olympics.

Former Fox Sports reporter Jason Whitlock led the fume at the time, writing: " “What Serena did was akin to cracking a tasteless, X-rated joke inside a church. Serena deserved to be called out. What she did was immature and classless."
LA Times sports journalist, Bill Plaschke added: “Serena C-walking at Wimbledon only shows how long she’s been away from home, separated from violence and death associated with that dance.”

Williams insisted she hadn't meant anything by the dance and was just buzzing to have thrashed rival Sharapova 6-0, 6-1 for gold.
"It was just me. I love to dance," Williams told reporters. "I didn't know what else to do. I was so happy, and next thing I know I started dancing and moving. I didn't plan it. It just happened."
Despite the fury, the 43-year-old proved undistracted as she later won the US Open to end the 2012 season on a high.
Now, over a decade later, the retired sporting legend was able to express herself and duly sent the internet into meltdown.
“serena ate that” Coco Gauff posted on X. “You did that!!!” Her sister Venus Williams added.
Those mere seconds were also enough for the jokes to start coming in.

"Serena crip walked for four seconds and gained more yards than the Chiefs in the entire first half," one fan wrote on X.
Kansas City gained a total of 23 yards and only one first down.
It was the lowest total yards for the Chiefs with Mahomes at quarterback.
"Kendrick Lamar’s got more yards walking during his performance than the Chiefs offense did in the first half. Very impressive," another fan chimed in.
"Kendrick Lamar has barely moved from the waist down but still has more rushing yards than the Chiefs," another fan added.
There was speculation who Lamar would bring out to help assist him in his performance.

We already knew SZA would be a part of the show.
But Lamar surprised everyone by having Jackson play an integral part in his performance, along with the brief Williams cameo, and good friend and producer, Mustard, who joined him at the end.
It was a spectacle for the ages.
One that the internet couldn't get enough, especially when Lamar performed his hit diss track, 'Not Like Us' at fellow rapper, Drake's expense.
The reaction poured in.
"THIS MAN KENDRICK LAMAR JUST SMILED IN THE CAMERA AFTER COOKING DRAKE."
"Kendrick getting the entire Super Bowl screaming 'a minor' with Serena Williams dancing has to feel like a shot gun blast to Drake’s chest."
"What did we just witness… Kendrick just murdered Drake in front of 120 MILLION PEOPLE."
Their rap beef took center stage in the last eight months, with Lamar putting an exclamation point on it at Super Bowl LIX.
It's (been) over.
The war is won, and Lamar once again has got the last laugh.
