Two “Southern Charm” stars revealed where they stand with past co-stars.
During a January 30 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Austen Kroll gave an update on his relationship with his former girlfriend Olivia Flowers. When asked if he congratulated Flowers on her recent engagement to Alex Williams, Kroll admitted his answer was not ideal.
“Not a proud answer for me, but I just feel like there is so much animosity from her towards me last year that I thought the best thing to do for me was to distance myself,” he revealed. “And then of course, you know, she didn’t come back to the show, which I wish that she would have so that we could have, you know, reconciled.”
Host Andy Cohen pointed out to Kroll that he could have reconciled with Flowers without cameras around.
“Yes Andy, you’re right and so that’s why I’m saying not a proud answer, that I distance myself.” Kroll shared. “And no, I did not reach out to her about her engagement. …It’s just you know I would like to think that hey like drop you know the pettiness and you know just reach out and congratulate someone that was a part of your past on their engagement.”
Flowers and Kroll dated during the 8th season of “Southern Charm” but broke up before the reunion taping. The exes’ strained relationship got messier in season 9 after Kroll kissed Flowers’ friend Taylor Ann Green.
Flowers moved on with Williams and became engaged to him in September 2024, People magazine reported. Kroll is now dating Audrey Pratt.

During his joint appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” with “Southern Charm” matriarch Patricia Altschul, Kroll was also asked if he still sees former co-star Kathryn Dennis.
“No,” he replied. “And I have reached out a few times. Like we used to like to get pedicures together and so I’d be like ‘Hey let’s go to the pedicure’ and she’ be like. ‘Yeah let’s’ and then radio silence. …It’s just tough it’s tough when the other person doesn’t reciprocate.”
Dennis was a main cast member on “Southern Charm” from season 2 to season 8. In January 2023, she confirmed she would not be returning to the show. In a statement to Page Six at the time, Dennis said she would always “treasure” the friendships she made while filming “Southern Charm.”
A few months later, she posted a sweet selfie with Flowers and described her as one of the “good ones.”

On WWHL, Altschul was also asked about past “Southern Charm” cast members. After Cohen asked her if she ever sees Dennis’ ex, Thomas Ravenel, around town, Altschul revealed that she had.
“He came up to me at Halls one night, [that’s a restaurant] which is the kind of hang-out place,” she revealed. “And he said I want to apologize for all the terrible things he has said about me.”
Altschul noted she once had legal drama with Ravenel, but that she opted to accept his apology anyway. Ravenel was a main cast member for the first five seasons of “Southern Charm” before his departure from the show in 2018.
Altschul also gave an update on JT Thomas, who announced his exit from “Southern Charm” before the 10th season began airing. One of Thomas’ season 10 storylines involved a rumor that he called Altschul a derogatory name behind her back. The alleged name-calling was not caught on camera.
On WWHL, Altschul said no longer cares what Thomas said—or didn’t say. “The jury is still out on that,” she noted of Craig Conover’s claim that Thomas called Altschul a “[expletive]. ” “I did do an apology as such because I really don’t know the true story of that.”
“Craig said it was after they were de-mic’d,” Altschul added. “And JT said he never said it. But the bottom line is, I am kind of a [expletive]. And I don’t really care one way or the other.”
