A body double and CG were both prepared. In the scene with Jae Joon, where my back is showing, a body double was used. But in the scene where I take off my shirt, that is me. Yep. The body is mine. But for that scene, there was some editing done through CG.

In this sex scene, Cha Joo Young went topless again—with her upper body fully revealed.

It seems the production team went with CG editing of Cha Joo Young’s topless scene for The Queen Who Crowns to focus the scene on the marital relationship between Queen Wongyeong and King Taejong.

Thanks to the bold and captivating plot, The Queen Who Crowns started off strong with a viewership rating of 5.1%. This is the first time since January 2024 that a tvN weekday K-Drama surpassed the 5% mark with its premiere.
