One Marvel Rivals fan has left a word of advice for fellow players of the hero-shooter title; shoot Peni Parker's spider nest in order for the team to push forward. Peni Parker has an ability that lays down a nest of spider mines that, when an enemy steps on the webs that deploy along with the mines, blows enemies to pieces. It seems that players just don't notice this nest, according to fans, as everyone just leaves it to keep blowing everyone up who runs across it.
A recent Reddit thread from dispoinvestor questioned why no one seems to shoot at Peni Parker's spider nest that is very obviously laid down on the map. The post garnered a lot of attention, which was mostly filled with memes and jokes about why no one even attempts to get the nest out of the way so that melee heroes can do their job. However, there is something to be taken from the post that might help new players understand Peni Parker's abilities a bit better.

The original poster makes a valid point, that it is harder to push forward when mines keep blowing everyone up, but why is it that no one shoots the nest when it is right in front of them?

Commenters on the thread give very little in terms of a response, other than one hilarious "tutorial" for those who "miss" the spider nest. The OP writes, "If somebody released a very SERIOUS in-depth YouTube Guide on how to look up and down....I legitimately believe it will be loved by a lot of people!" They then go on to describe a YouTube video showcasing each hero in-game looking up and down at the spider nest in front of them, rather than running past it and letting melee heroes get blasted back to their spawn.

Strategists can easily run right into one and get killed quite quickly by just a few mines, especially Jeff the Land Shark, whose ultimate can be ruined due to being blown up after swallowing an entire enemy team. Finding the nest itself can be a bit tricky if the Peni player knows where to hide it, but most of the time it is in plain sight.
Shooting and killing the nest of spiders is easy, and can be done by any tank or ranged hero to avoid death, as tanks can withstand most of the blasts from the mines. Not only will this stop your team from being blown up, but it will prevent unnecessary damage from being taken and the need for healers to panic and throw out more heals than needed to keep the team alive and thriving in Marvel Rivals.
