4 K-Dramas To Watch If You’re Missing “Namib”
The best music and youth K-drama of 2025 has already ended. While the story had a satisfying conclusion, Mondays and Tuesdays feel a little too empty without the Namib cast on screen. If you miss them as much as I do, here are four K-dramas to watch after finishing Namib.
Mask Girl
Trigger warning: Mask Girl delves into issues such as sexual abuse, body image struggles, and stalking. Due to its heavy themes, it may not be suitable for viewers sensitive to these topics.
Go Hyun Jung is a legendary actress, so if you miss watching her on screen, there are plenty of options. One of her more recent dramas, which brought her back into the spotlight, is the must-watch thriller K-drama Mask Girl.
The story follows Kim Mo Mi, played by Lee Han Byeol, Nana, and Go Hyun Jung at different points in the character's life. By day, Mo Mi is an office worker, deeply insecure about her appearance and facing discrimination due to her unconventional looks. However, at night, she is a seductress who wears a mask and livestreams for her massive male fanbase. When a stalker fan attempts to uncover her identity and take advantage of her, Mo Mi ends up killing him. In an attempt to avoid prison, she undergoes plastic surgery, but even with a new face, she cannot escape her misfortune.
Twinkling Watermelon
Although his performance might suggest otherwise, Ryeoun hasn't been acting for very long. In his rising career, he has already worked on projects like Adult Trainee and Death's Game and is set to star in Weak Hero Class 2. However, one must-watch drama that truly showcases his twinkling talent is Twinkling Watermelon.
This time-travel youth K-drama centers on Eun Gyeol, played by Ryeoun. He is a CODA (a hearing child of deaf parents) who leads a double life—by day, he is a dedicated student striving to get into medical school to fulfill his father's (Choi Won Young’s) dream, but by night, he pursues his true passion, music, by busking on the streets. When his father discovers his secret, they argue, with Eun Gyeol hurtfully declaring that his father could never understand his love for music since he cannot hear it.
After storming out of his house for fresh air, Eun Gyeol is suddenly transported to 1995, back when his father (Choi Hyun Wook) was a high school student. However, the biggest shock isn't just the time jump—it's that his father, whom he always believed was born deaf, is actually in a music band. Even more surprising? His father has a crush on someone other than Eun Gyeol's mother (Shin Eun Soo).
To ensure his own existence, Eun Gyeol must make sure his parents fall in love. In doing so, he gets to know his father better than ever before.

18 Again
Like Go Hyun Jung, Yoon Sang Hyun has built an impressive career with many notable projects. But one of his must-watch dramas is 18 Again, a Korean adaptation of the Hollywood film 17 Again.
The story follows Jung Da Jeong (Kim Ha Neul) and Hong Dae Young (played by Yoon Sang Hyun as an adult and Lee Do Hyun as his younger self), a couple married for nearly two decades. Over the years, their love has faded, and their marriage has become defined by constant arguments. When Dae Young gets fired from his job, his wife files for divorce.
Regret quickly sets in, and Dae Young begins to question every life choice, including marrying Da Jeong. But the universe grants him a second chance—by turning him 18 again.
What sets 18 Again apart from 17 Again is its more refined handling of relationships, particularly the father-daughter dynamic. While the Hollywood film awkwardly includes a subplot where the daughter has a crush on her father's younger self, 18 Again takes a classier approach, turning them into best friends instead.

Caffeine Romance
As a member of the group GHOST9, Lee Jin Woo primarily focuses on music and rarely ventures into acting. However, after his heartfelt performance in Namib, it's hard not to miss seeing him. If you do, you can either listen to GHOST9's music or watch one of his K-drama appearances, such as Caffeine Romance.
This short, six-episode web drama follows two high schoolers who fall in love within a fanfiction written by Yeo Ju, a devoted fan of Lee Won Do (Lee Jin Woo). The story is lighthearted, filled with classic romance tropes, and is perfect for warming up cold evenings.
