After the defeat in Super Bowl LIX, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce explained the reasons why his team lost against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.
Philadelphia won its second Super Bowl ring in the franchise's history by beating the Chiefs 40-22, who were looking to win a third consecutive title, something never achieved in the history of the NFL.

However, the Eagles dominated the game from the start and did not give the Chiefs the slightest chance to win the game, as Kelce himself explained.
"We just couldn't get going on offense, we just got beat in all three phases and on top of that we had turnovers, penalties, and we couldn't get first downs," the tight end explained.
"We hadn't played that bad all year. You don't lose like that without everything going wrong," added Kelce, who explained that the Chiefs dropped passes and didn't execute as they have done throughout the season.
The future Hall of Famer noted that his team never gave up, despite being shut out for most of the game, including the entire first half.
"This team is going to fight to the end forever and you saw that," he said. "Even with the score so wide, we were always going to fight."
If the Chiefs had won, it would have been the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history, and they would have made NFL history by repeating as champions for the third consecutive year
Instead, Kansas City will now have to overcome a loss, the third in the team's history in Super Bowls, and the second with the current generation of players, after a 15-2 record in the regular season.
"We just couldn't find that spark," said Kelce, Taylor Swift's partner. "We couldn't find that momentum."
