AdvertisementAccording to TenAsia on January 23, Lee Chanhyuk and Ha Ji-soo have been dating for over a year. An industry insider told TenAsia, “They enjoy their time together naturally, just like any other young couple, without worrying about public attention.”
Lee Chanhyuk and Ha Ji-soo met while working on the first album of the project group Leechanhyukvideo titled “Umbrella”, which was released in June 2023. The album consists of 12 remake songs rearranged by Lee Chanhyuk and featured a variety of vocalists from different fields, including actors Im Siwan and Go Ah Sung, model Jang Yoon Ju, comedian Shin Bong Sun, ITZY’s Chaeryeong and singer Jang Kiha. The project gained significant popularity at the time.
Ha Ji-soo was cast as the female lead in the music video for one of the album’s double title tracks, “Dance”, where she partnered with Lee Chanhyuk as his love interest. In the music video, the two portrayed youthful lovers running freely across an open field and dancing together, exuding a sense of freedom.
Additionally, Ha Ji-soo appeared in other tracks from the album, such as “Fly Your Kite” and “Waltz of tears”, playing a vital role in expressing the album’s melancholic mood and worldview.
Lee Chanhyuk debuted in 2014 as part of AKMU, delivering numerous hits across various genres, including “200%”, “Last Goodbye” and “How Can I Love the Heartbreak, You’re the One I Love”. He has shown a diverse musical spectrum, ranging from lively and energetic songs to emotional ballads and experimental tracks with profound concepts, maintaining strong communication with fans.
