…she has since revealed the actual amount of work that went into achieving her slender figure. In the latest episode of singer Sung Si Kyung‘s YouTube show, “Let’s Meet,” Park explained that she hasn’t watched too many episodes of his other show, “Let’s Eat.” The actress explained that because she’s constantly working on losing weight, she refrains from watching mukbang content.
I actually haven’t watched too many “Let’s Eat” episodes because I’m always trying to lose weight.

Park then revealed that, in her 20s, she was on the heavier side at around 176 pounds (80 kilograms)—mostly because of the chapagetti instant noodles.

Sung Si Kyung: Oh! I do think I read somewhere that you were…
Park Ji Hyun: Yeah, I was heavier. I lost a lot of weight. Now, I’m forever trying to keep it off.
Sung Si Kyung: How much did you used to weigh?
Park Ji Hyun: Around 172 pounds (78 kilograms)… I think I hit 176 pounds (80 kilograms) once.
Sung Si Kyung: Really?! How long ago was this?
Park Ji Hyun: When I was a little over 20-something.
Sung Si Kyung: So when you were in college?
Park Ji Hyun: Yep.
Noting how grateful she would be for a role that would require her to be “bigger,” (so she could eat to her heart’s desire), Park Ji Hyun said she has now mastered the know-how behind shedding weight—based on how long it has been since she has lost close to 66 pounds (30 kilograms) and successfully kept it off—and it isn’t too difficult for her to maintain her figure.
Sung Si Kyung: We should’ve met back then.
Park Ji Hyun: I would’ve eaten everything here. I mean… I certainly can, still.
Sung Si Kyung: How many ramyun packages can you eat in one sitting?
Park Ji Hyun: So I actually like chapagetti more than ramyun. I used to be able to eat up to six of those in one sitting.
Sung Si Kyung: That was before the weight loss? What about now?
Park Ji Hyun: Now, if I let loose and really go for it, I can still eat three to four.
Sung Si Kyung: So are you constantly holding back the desire to eat?
Park Ji Hyun: Well… I’m kind of used to it now.
Fans found her transformation fascinating:
