Adam Levine is happy to bring back these memories.
With the Maroon 5 frontman making his return as a coach for season 27 of The Voice after exiting in 2019, he reflected on why he was ready to sit back in his cherry red throne.
âI just felt like it was time,â Adam told E! News correspondent Will Marfuggi in an exclusive interview. âI had some time to reflect and do my thing and be with my family.â
As he put it, âI was ready to do it, then the stars aligned and here I am.â
Despite making his decision to leave the show after 16 seasons in 2019, the 45-year-oldâwho shares kids Dusty Rose, 8, Gio Grace, 6, and 2-year-old son with wife Behati Prinslooâdoesn't regret the move.
âIt's funny, I actually didn't miss it while I was gone,â he admitted. âBut I became more nostalgic about it once I came back.â (For more with Adam and the Voice coaches, tune into E! News tonight, Jan. 30 at 11 p.m.)
