Aging Rocker Rod Stewart's Son Sean Stewart Admitted To Swanky Malibu Rehab: 'Here To Deal With Childhood Pain'
Rod Stewart is forking out nearly $250k to send his troubled son Sean Stewart to a swanky Malibu rehab facility.
Rocker Rod Stewart is currently dealing with a family crisis involving his son, Sean Stewart. It seems that the aging singerâs oldest son is going through some serious addiction issues and has been admitted to a swanky Malibu rehabilitation center. Sean has been having a difficult time coping with many personal issues and has found himself self-medicating to ease his pain. According to Radar Online, Sean Stewart is currently receiving treatment at the Cliffside Malibu rehabilitation facility for a pill addiction.
The luxury rehab facility has housed many celebrities over the years, including Sean Stewartâs close friend Scott Disick. Reports indicate that Sean checked into rehab on Tuesday following a family intervention. Seanâs most recent addiction issues reportedly come just months after splitting with his wife, Jody Weintraub. Following the split, Sean is said to have moved on with actor Charlie Sheenâs ex Julia Stambler. The 44-year-old has a long and public history of drug addiction. He is said to have checked into rehab for a 90-day stay voluntarily following the family intervention.

According to reports, insiders close to the Stewart family reveal that Rod Stewart is very proud of his son for acknowledging that he needs help and checking himself in without being forced. Rod Stewart has spent decades in the music business and often refers to his hard-partying days. As previously reported, Rod has even acknowledged his bad habits recently following a series of health issues. Despite pondering his mortality, the aging rocker admitted that even though his days may be numbered. However, he has no fear nor any plans to slow down anytime soon.

However, Sean spoke to the Daily Mail to confirm he is seeking the help he needs to become a âbetter person.â Sean Stewart also claims that his addiction issues stem from several past childhood issues. These include trauma, persistent ADHD, and childhood issues, as he still has feelings of not âbeing enough.â
The exclusive Malibu facility offers patients panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. It also features an outdoor swimming pool and fully equipped gym. Patients can enjoy luxury amenities, which include organic chef-prepared meals, private rooms with large televisions, and turn-down service.
Rod Stewart and his family are thrilled that Sean Stewart is seeking help for his addiction issues. Sean adds by sharing his story, he hopes to serve as an inspiration and role model for others who need help.
The crew was selected by Bezos' fiancée, journalist Lauren Sånchez, who will also be on the brief suborbital flight scheduled for this spring.
