Alex Scott and Jess Glynne make rare red carpet appearance at Brit Awards
Alex Scott and Jess Glynne walked the red carpet together at the Brit Awards 2025, marking one of their first public appearances since confirming their relationship
Alex Scott and Jess Glynne turned heads on the Brit Awards red carpet, following a heartfelt revelation about their relationship.
The 40-year-old football pundit and the 35-year-old Rather Be singer were among the guests at London's O2 arena for the 2025 Brit Awards on Saturday night.
‌
Hosted by Jack Whitehall, the ceremony saw musicians vying for a host of awards, with Charli XCX leading the nominations after already securing the Songwriter of the Year award before the event.
The couple, who have been together since summer 2023, walked the red carpet hand in hand. Alex looked elegant in a black and white halterneck dress, while Jess dazzled in a strapless burnt orange ballgown and striking jewellery.
Performances from Sabrina Carpenter and Sam Fender awaited them inside. Their appearance followed a candid confession from Alex about her struggle to show affection due to her upbringing in an abusive home, reports the Mirror.

The football icon has spoken candidly about the challenging relationship with her father, Tony, whom she labelled as "stupidly cruel". In a revealing interview with The Times, she opened up about the alleged physical and mental abuse suffered by her family, accusations her father vehemently disputes.
She told the newspaper: "We weren't allowed to express emotion. Dad didn't allow us to hug each other or say 'I love you'. It had a huge impact on us all. To this day, if I want to show people love, I'll do it by taking them out to dinner and paying. I remember one of the first times Jess hugged me. I was like... [rigid]. She was like, 'Are you not going to put your arms around me?' But I didn't know how to do that."
‌
Reflecting on going public with her relationship with Glynne, Scott said: "It took us a while because we knew what we have is so special, so it has been about trying to protect that and keep that for us in such a way that it continues to be beautiful."
Her father's response was one of confusion regarding the allegations, as he commented: "I have no idea why she's saying all this stuff. I was raised in a strict but loving Jamaican family and Alex should know what they are like. I taught her discipline, I did a lot to help her."

Jess has been known to keep her romantic life under wraps, previously emphasising her desire for privacy to the Daily Mail. She expressed her stance by saying: "I've never ever confirmed that I'm in a relationship with anyone. I've always made a conscious effort to keep something for myself.
"I'll never change that. My friendships, family, relationships, those are mine. Love who you love, be you and be happy. But it's a very brutal world and outside judgement is never easy. When someone says, 'Well, what are you? Heterosexual, bisexual, queer?', I'm like, 'Why does that matter to you?'".
