After Monday night’s finale the couple appeared on The Morning After podcast and host Amy Hart pointed out their journey will continue to play out on Towie.
She told them: “In the ITV multiverse, you guys are Love Island and Towie crossover.
“You two are going to become the power couple of Towie!”
Nodding enthusiastically Elma said: “Yeah!” While Sammy whooped and put his hand up.
They both then appeared to be surprised when they remembered they’ll be back filming for the ITVBe show next week.
Writing in the comments, fans suggested taking over as the top reality couple of ITV had been Elma and Sammy’s plan all along.
One wrote: “Elma and Sammy seem so fake. Like they didn't realize towie starts filming next week. You know they talked about it. Why not not say so.”
Another said: “Elma and Sammy were always going to make the final. They are on one of ITV’s longest running shows. Towie plug for ITV, it’s all business, it’s all a rig.”
