Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes werenât the only ones to find love in an unexpected place â so did their former spouses Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig.
Shue â once married to Robach â and Fiebig â former wife of Holmes â started dating one another after their former spouses engaged in a scandalous office romance while working at ABC.
Back in November 2022 the pair were photographed getting cozy outside of their New York office. That same month, Holmes filed for divorce from Fiebig after more than a decade of marriage. Robach also ended her marriage to Shue, whom she married in 2010. Holmes and Robach, who worked alongside each other as cohosts at GMA3, were axed by ABC two months after photos of the couple first surfaced.
Holmes and Robach broke their silence about the scandal one year later.

Former GMA3 cohosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmesâ reported romance made headlines in November 2022 when the TV personalities â both married to other people â were photographed getting cozy on various outings throughout the month. The pictures, first published by the Daily Mail, showed the pair holding hands in a car, laughing at a [âŚ]
âTo be clear, we were outed as being in a relationship, but everyone else thought we were being outed as adulterers â being outed as cheating on our spouses â and it wasnât the case because the odd thing is, the day those pictures were taken and the day that article was released, we both at that point were in divorce proceedings,â Holmes said in the debut episode of his and Robachâs âAmy and T.J.â podcast in December 2023.
Robach, meanwhile, claimed that her marriage to Shue was over before she started dating Holmes.
âWe had attorneys, mediators, we were in the middle of divorces,â she shared at the time. âWe thought we were protecting our children and our families and we thought we had time and we thought we had a right to privacy and maybe that was foolish and silly.â
Us Weekly confirmed that same month that Shue and Fiebig had moved on â with each other. A source told Us at the time that the duo were âhappy togetherâ and that their âfeelings for each other are genuine.â

The former costars have since denied that they werenât faithful during their marriages. Shue has yet to comment publicly on the drama.
Fiebig, for her part, released a statement through her attorney two months later. âDuring the holiday season and in light of the challenging times, Marileeâs sole focus has remained on the overall best interest of her 9-year-old daughter,â the statement read in part.
Her lawyer Stephanie Lehman continued: âTo that end T.J.âs lawyer and I have been working together to move their divorce forward privately, expeditiously and as amicably as possible. Notwithstanding, we continue to be disappointed by T.Jâs lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity toward Marilee and the partyâs daughter. Marilee has been touched by the outpouring of support and looks forward to a new beginning in this new year.â

December 2023 MEGAShue and Fiebigâs romance made headlines the same month that Holmes and Robach broke their silence about the scandal. In photos of the pair in New York, Shue and Fiebig were seen preparing for a weekend getaway.
December 2023An insider told Us that Shue and Fiebigâs romance was more than just âa rebound.â The pair âknew each otherâ from going on double dates when they were still married to Robach and Holmes, with the source adding, âThey always got along.â

âTabloid stories arenât reported. They are planted. I got a whole education on this this year,â Holmes said before Robach added, âThatâs a good one and very true.â
March 2024Shue and Fiebig appeared in great spirits while on a stroll in New York City â they smiled and held hands on their way to dinner in photos obtained by Us.
June 2024The couple was spotted kissing and hugging while saying goodbye to each other in Manhattanâs West Village neighborhood. In one extra steamy snap, Shue was seen getting handsy with Fiebig and grabbing her butt.
July 2024 MEGAâAmy is happy for Andrew and Marilee,â a second source exclusively revealed to Us about Robachâs reaction to Shue and Fiebig going public with their romance. The insider maintained that Robachâs focus was on her relationship with Holmes, sharing, âFriends have told her theyâve never seen her this happy.â
August 2024Andrewâs sister, Elisabeth Shue, offered insight into his life out of the spotlight, telling E! News, âHeâs great. Heâs very, very happy.â
Andrew had the same response that same month while speaking to former Melrose Place costars Laura Layton, Courtney Thorne Smith and Daphne Zuniga on their âStill the Placeâ podcast.
âIâm doing very well,â he shared. âI am very happy. My kids are all great, and Iâm working on a project.â

According to the insider, Shue and Fiebig âare doing great and very much in love.â They arenât in a rush, however, to take their romance to the next level.
âMarriage is a big step, so theyâre cautious and careful because they got hurt the last time,â the source continued. âItâs more important for them to just be in love, live together, travel and enjoy each other.â
