Andy Cohen Suggests Reason 'Real Housewives' Star Quit
Bravo host Andy Cohen reacted to the news that Garcelle Beauvais is leaving "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
Andy Cohen has reacted to the news that Garcelle Beauvais quit “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
On the Wednesday, March 26 episode of his SiriusXM radio show, Cohen offered a bit of an explanation as to what might have caused Beauvais to walk.
“She had a reunion that you will see play out and I’m not gonna, you’ll just watch it, but she didn’t, it was not… she ended in a not good place,” Cohen said, hinting that things went awry during filming.
Beauvais first joined the cast of the Beverly Hills franchise as a full-time star on season 10.
Also on his radio show, Cohen said that he had a conversation with Beauvais prior to her appearance on Watch What Happens Live!
“She and I were texting and she kept saying, ‘I will speak to you in New York.’ So we got together about an hour before her live show and she and I really [hashed] things out. And she let me into where her head was at and there was not only stuff with the show, but she’s got, the kids are entering their senior year,” Cohen said on his radio show.
“I really respect that fact that she really, it was one of the most real conversations that it ended where it ended, but I would say it ended with her saying, ‘I’ve got to choose kind of my life,'” he added.

Beauvais’ decision to leave “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” came just hours before the season 14 finale aired on Bravo.
“Hi guys, I have some news. I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills. It’s been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened and some hard things have happened. But it’s been a ride nevertheless,” Beauvais said in a video posted to social media on Tuesday, March 25.
She went on to say that her decision to leave had to do with her kids. She also said that Cohen offered her the opportunity to return if she changed her mind in the future.
“Andy Cohen said I can come back any time, the door is always open. So you never know, I might pop back in some time,” she said.
