Ange Postecoglou has denied cupping his ears at Tottenham's supporters during their clash with Chelsea.
The Australian boss oversaw a 1-0 defeat against the Blues at Stamford Bridge in just the latest poor result in a disappointing season.

Ange Postecoglou cut a frustrated figure in his interview with Sky SportsCredit: Sky SportsTrailing by a goal to nil, Postecoglou replaced Lucas Bergvall with Pape Matar Sarr in a change that led fans to chant 'you don't know what you're doing' at the Tottenham boss.
When Sarr found the back of the net with a long-range strike five minutes later Postecoglou appeared to cup his ear in the direction of the Spurs fans and wave in their direction.
But while it was suggested that his actions were in response to the derogatory chants from supporters, Postecoglou insisted in a frosty interview with Sky Sports' Patrick Davison that it wasn't the case.
Asked about his gesture, he said: "I don't know what you're talking about.

"They hadn't had a lot to cheer about."
Asked to confirm that it wasn't a response to them booing his substitutions, he replied: "They’ve booed my substitutions before. It had nothing to do with them booing my substitutions.
"You’re trying really hard, mate but my view is that it was a tight game decided by a really poor decision."

Unfortunately for Postecoglou and Spurs, Sarr's goal was ruled out as a result of a foul on Moises Caicedo in the build-up to the goal.
Regardless of whether it was the right call or not, the Australian boss took a strong stance when discussing the six-minute stoppage as VAR made their decision.

"You just don't know what you're going to get, you stand there for 12 minutes, but nobody cares that, they like the drama and controversy and I'm sure there'll be 24 hour coverage.
"If the referee needs to see that for six minutes, tell me what's clear and obvious about that, mate?
"We all sat on our coaches last night and thought one reply and thought, 'oh my God.'
"Tonight we sat and waited for something that the VAR official thought was clear and obvious

Pushed on whether he thought the decision was wrong, Postecoglou said: "Look Pat, you can try and force me into a corner.
"How many minutes did it take this referee to decide if it was clear and obvious?
"Clear and obvious, if you have to watch something a few times, is that clear and obvious?
"The referee didn't see it, he then needs to see it for six minutes but you got the right outcome.
"That's why the game is going the way it is. I guess people like you will be happy sitting on your couch for six minutes."
