Angellica Bell's pal says why she didn't bring up Martin Lewis exit on CBB
Celebrity Big Brother's Angellica Bell was suddenly axed from The Martin Lewis Money Show in 2023 after six years and fans had been waiting to hear what happened before the presenter was sent packing from the Big Brother house last night.
Angellica Bell's sudden departure from ITV's The Martin Lewis Money Show has been the subject of much speculation, with her friend and former CBBC co-host Andrew Hayden-Smith shedding light on why she's remained silent about the situation. Bell, 49, has enjoyed a successful 25-year career spanning children's TV and daytime shows but was unexpectedly dropped from the popular show in 2023 following a six-year stint - yet she has not addressed her exit during her time on Celebrity Big Brother.
Angellica was reportedly axed by producers at the time who then replaced her with Jeanette Kwakye, a former Olympian and broadcaster, to fill her role. After joining the show in 2017, Angellica transitioned to Channel 5 to present the newly-titled version of The Gadget Show â Shop Smart, Save Money, the M.E.N reports.

According to sources, a 'conflict of interest' arose due to the channel move, leading to her swift removal from the ITV show. Intrigue regarding her silence increased when Angellica's husband Michael Underwood suggested that she may eventually discuss the incident inside the Celebrity Big Brother house, responding to a fan's inquiry on TikTok.
Speaking to the Mirror, Angellica's former co-host Andrew remarked that although Angellica is open to discussing her exit from the Martin Lewis Money Show, it simply might not have been mentioned yet.
