Antony sent new transfer verdict as Man Utd discover star's 'immense potential'
Man United winger Antony has enjoyed a positive start on loan at Real Betis after struggling for form at Old Trafford under Ruben Amorim and his predecessor Erik ten Hag.

Manchester United have been told that Antony's improved performances in Spain are down to him feeling the love from Real Betis.
The winger is currently on loan in Seville after joining from United during the January transfer window. Antony has already surpassed his season's goal tally at the Reds in just six games, having scored three times compared to just once for United in 2024/25.

United's Brazilian forward was sent off during last weekend's 2-1 win over Getafe, although his red card was later overturned. Overall, the 25-year-old is enjoying a new lease of life in La Liga, and there will be hope at Old Trafford that his performances for Betis could lead to a permanent summer transfer to improve the Reds' financial struggles.

And former midfielder Denilson has commented on his compatriot's performances in Spain's top-flight so far. The ex-Betis star has shared his view that Antony has "immense potential," which he is starting to show.
"It was the right decision," Denilson said via Spanish publication AS. "He needed love and attention to show his immense potential, and Betis is the best place for that.
Article continues below"As a good Brazilian he needs joy to be on the pitch and at Betis he has recovered it. He has started very well, with goals and great play. He will give a lot of joy."
The 25-year-old arrived in Manchester from Ajax for a huge €100million (£85.5m) fee in August 2022 but only scored 12 goals for United. His struggles at M16 came after winning two Eredevise titles at the Dutch giants under former Reds boss Erik ten Hag.
