After a TikTok video of Apple and fellow debutante AliĂ©nor Loppin de Montmort getting their photos taken went viral, Gwyneth and Chris' daughter received online backlash for giving alleged "mean girl" energy at the ball, though Apple refuted the allegations on social media. Â
"I donât know how anyone has a problem with us. We are such a delight," she and two friends mouthed to a voiceover in a Dec. 16 TikTok video posted by Ava Crox. âWe are two of the funniest girls and I know us, like offline. When I tell you, there aren't two more caring, charitable, generous, kindâŠ"
In addition, Aliénor made it clear she harbors no hard feelings towards Apple, emphasizing to People that "she is genuinely the nicest girl ever" and that she "doesn't deserve an ounce of what she's getting."
