Ariana Grande & Ethan Slater Are Still Avoiding This Milestone at the Critics Choice Awards
These two are still keeping us waiting on one thing.
Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are becoming more and more public about their relationship but thereâs still one milestone that the pair are holding out for!
While both are attending the 2025 Critics Choice Awards on Friday, Feb. 7, the pair avoided a red carpet debut as a couple once again. Slater walked the red carpet solo, arriving early in the night, while Grande made her appearance later. The Best Supporting Actress nominee stunned in a Christian Dior couture look.

While the pair have attended plenty of events together since the premiere Wicked, the film that kickstarted their romance, they have not yet posed together as a couple on the red carpet.
However, Slater did gush about his girlfriend on the red carpet, opening up to E! News about what itâs been like to watch Grande land numerous nominations, including her first Oscar nomination.

âSheâs been doing so much promoting the movie, so I think youâve definitely seen the moments between the crying,â he told E! News at the Critics Choice Awards, âbut itâs a really emotional thing and itâs beautiful.â
Grande, who has been dating Slater since 2023 after meeting on the set of Wicked in 2022, has been filled with emotions throughout the press tour and weâre sure the Critics Choice Awards will be no different as the film celebrates 11 total nominations.
âPicking my head up in between sobs to say thank you so much to @theacademy for this unfathomable recognition,â she wrote on Instagram Jan. 23 after Oscar nominations were announced. âI cannot stop crying, to no oneâs surprise. iâm humbled and deeply honored to be in such brilliant company and sharing this with tiny ari who sat and studied Judy Garland singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow just before the big, beautiful bubble entered.â
Slater also celebrated Grandeâs nomination with a simple photo of her holding balloons and looking out a window, leaving the post without a caption so the joy could speak for itself.
