England player Ollie Watkins has revealed an awkward moment in which he didn't recognise Hollywood icon Tom Hanks.
While appearing on Sky's BAFTA-winning sports comedy series A League of Their Own, the footballer was asked about his singing talents, which led to a conversation about famous faces.
"Now, Ollie, we talked about you bottling singing on stage with Ed Sheeran. Are you actually a good singer? Do you fancy yourself as a singer?" asked host Romesh Ranganathan.
"Yeah, I think so. My mum's a singer, so I feel like it runs in the family. So, I feel like I've got a bit, but I have to have the right song to sing," Ollie explained, before sharing that he was partial to a bit of Luther Vandross.

This prompted Jamie Redknapp to share a story of how he met the late musician, before Ollie recalled his awkward encounter with Tom.
The Forrest Gump star visited Aston Villa back in 2023, where he mingled with fans and players as he watched a game from the Directors' Box. He also made a surprise visit to the changing rooms.
"Yeah, I didn't realise who it was," Ollie shared, to which a shocked Maisie Adam said: "You didn't recognise Tom Hanks?"
"I didn't recognise Tom Hanks," the footballer admitted, before Romesh jokingly interjected: "[Because] he didn't have a cowboy hat on and was that high," while making a short gesture.
"I was getting changed in the changing room, and I turned around and was just like, 'Oh, it's Tom Hanks,'" Ollie continued.

After receiving some odd looks from his co-stars, he added: "It was a bit awkward. Like, everyone was just putting their slips on, everyone's like half naked, and he just walked in."
A League of Their Own was first broadcast in 2010, and sees two teams compete for points in a series of sports-related challenges.
James Corden hosted the show for the first 14 series, before Romesh Ranganathan took over for series 15.
Jamie Redknapp and Jill Scott are the current team captains, with Micah Richards on board as a regular panellist.
