BBC Breakfast viewers were greeted with Jon Kay and Sally Nugent, but not everyone was happy with their appearance.

BBC Breakfast viewers flocked to complain about "giggling" presenters Jon Kay and Sally Nugent. The duo fronted Wednesday's (March 12) instalment of the morning programme, delivering the day's top stories. This included the expected cuts to disability benefits, the steel tariffs imposed by Donald Trump and ceasefire talks between Ukraine and the UK.
Jon, 55, and Sally, 53, seemed in high spirits as they hosted the show together, but fans weren't pleased with how they represented themselves on the red sofa. Taking to social media, one furious viewer wrote: "#BBCBreakfast once again doing its upmost to be alarmist. This morning it’s welfare cuts, but not before more inane giggling from two supposed presenters who quite frankly are nothing short of embarrassing. Grow up!"
Another agreed: "I'd rather watch Naga being an aggressive old bat to the guests than this pair of giggling juveniles.."
Echoing this, a third added: "Have Sally & Jon spent the last 24 hours rolling around the floor giggling? Just switched on #BBCBreakfast (a bit late this morning) to find them just as I left them yesterday. Absolutely mortified to find I’ve missed the latest instalment in the Bargain Hunt saga."
During the programme, Sally swiftly countered her co-host's "ruthless" jibe, asserting "we can't have this conversation now".
This occurred when conversation shifted to their recent stint on BBC's Bargain Hunt, where they competed in a special episode marking the show's 25th anniversary.
