The radio and TV presenter revealed she was on the mend after dashing to Kingston Hospital last week.
Taking to social media to give a health, she wrote: “A huge thank you to the amazing team at Kingston Hospital who looked after me so well for my unexpected 6 night stay.
"You were so, so kind, attentive, patient and cheerful.

Her followers immediately responded with well-wishes, with one writing: “Take care Debs, I hope you are on the mend.”
While another said: “Sorry to hear you’ve been in hospital Debbie. Wishing you a speedy recovery.”
This fan wrote: "I hope you’re better Debs, I’m sorry you’ve been poorly.”

The legendary broadcaster started out in the 80s on shows like Granada Television and BBC Breakfast Time (now known as BBC Breakfast).
She also won the Miss Great Britain title back in 1984, and has worked on a number of shopping channels including Bid TV and QVC.

It was recently revealed how she has a piece of the original Breakfast Time red leather sofa, which was given to her as a goodbye present when she left the show.
Speaking about this, current BBC Breakfast presenter Jon Kay said: “Last week I went to Debbie’s house.
"And it’s all true. Debbie Greenwood has a section of the original BBC #BreakfastTime sofa!

Debbie added: “It means the world to me. That sofa changed my life. I’d never get rid of it. Imagine all the famous bottoms that have sat on it!”
