SBS’s upcoming drama “Our Movie” (literal translation) has released its first teaser!
During the 2024 SBS Drama Awards, SBS aired a sneak peek of the new romance drama, which will star Namgoong Min and Jeon Yeo Been.
Namgoong Min will play the role of Lee Je Ha, a film director struggling to break out of a sophomore slump. Although his career got off to a promising start, with his debut commercial film sweeping that year’s film festivals, Lee Je Ha lost his momentum in the years that followed, and he now finds himself facing an unclear future.
Jeon Yeo Been will play Lee Da Eum, an aspiring actress who suffers from a rare and incurable disease with an uncertain prognosis. As she faces the end of her life, she decides to finally try to live as a main character for the very first time.
The teaser begins with Lee Da Eum introducing herself to her new colleagues in voice-over as “the terminally ill Lee Da Eum, who is a consultant [for this film].”
Lee Je Ha then asks her, “I heard you’re dying? That you only have one year left to live?” Amidst glimpses of her emotional journey, Lee Da Eum declares, “Death keeps following me around, so I’m going to do my very best to shake it off. Even if it’s only for a very brief moment.”
“Our Movie” will premiere in 2025. Check out the new teaser below!
