Lorraine: Tim Campbell tells Apprentice fans to expect curveballs
The Apprentice is set to grace our TV screens in just a few hours, and ahead of the new series, Tim Campbell has dished out some behind-the-scenes details, hinting at a challenging season for fans.
Viewers will meet 18 determined contenders vying for the opportunity to secure Lord Sugar's £250,000 investment.
Joining Tim, 47, in mentoring these budding entrepreneurs is show stalwart Karren Brady, who has been part of the programme since 2008, reports the Daily Record.
Before tonight's launch episode of series 19, Tim made an appearance on Lorraine Kelly's ITV chat show, where he hinted that audiences should prepare for some unexpected 'curveballs'.
Lorraine noted: "You just never know what is going to happen to them when they come onto the show."

Tim responded: "Listen, curveballs are coming left and right this series. It's series 19 and it's unbelievable."
He added: "One, it ages me tremendously, but also it's a testament to how powerful the show is. We always talk about the American dream but we've got a British dream about young people who can come from anywhere - not always that young but they can come from anywhere with an idea and get an investment from one of the worlds most successful businessman."
Lorraine quipped: "And they get the chance to be on the telly to have a bit of fun and be completely stressed out and to make us all laugh, which is great."
Lorraine praised Tim's past triumph on the show, saying: "You were the first winner of course and I think it's great that you've come back to be at the right hand side of Lord Sugar."

In response, Tim shared: "It's great, because I can offer that perspective because myself and Baroness Brady, who is amazing and has been so helpful to me on show, we're there simply to give Lord Sugar feedback on the candidates.
"Sometimes it's necessary to tell a different version than the candidates have because their perspective might be different."
He continued, revealing the challenges of being an observer: "We're there to be the silent ones behind the scenes but unfortunately sometimes we see them up to acts and we can't believe what they are getting up to. I just know I'll be a rubbish poker player because of the expression on my face."
Lorraine airs weekdays from 9am on ITV and ITVX.
