Bake Off's Prue Leith slams Meghan Markle's show with brutal six-word review
Great British Bake Off star Prue Leith appeared on Good Morning Britain today when she delivered a brutal review of Meghan Markle's new Netflix series With Love, Meghan
Prue Leith has dished out her candid thoughts about Meghan Markle's Netflix series while appearing on Good Morning Britain today by declaring: "I'm not a Meghan Markle fan."
While appearing on the ITV morning programme with her husband John Playfair to talk all things Cotswold Kitchen – their new show – Great British Bake Off judge Prue, 85, was quizzed about Meghan's show, With Love, Meghan. "The new Meghan Markle series - have you seen it?" Rob Rinder asked, with Kate Garraway saying: "We love Meghan." However, Prue shared her honest opinion, stating, "No - I've only read about it but I honestly wouldn't watch it."
Prue said: "I’m not a Meghan Markle fan" (Image: Getty Images)Pressed further on her stance, Prue said: "I'm not a Meghan Markle fan. All that touchy-feely, endless worrying about what creams you put on your hands.
"I just think there's more to life than how you look and how your friends think of you. I've probably alienated half my fans", reports the Mirror.
With Love, Meghan follows the Duchess of Sussex as she hosts a number of her famous friends as she cooks, whips up honey, crafts bath bombs and does other DIY projects. The series has received mixed reviews since its release earlier this month, with even some former celebrity supporters turning on the show.

Previously, the comedian had hailed Meghan's influence within the Royal Family, saying: "I love Meghan Markle's voice and her confidence to challenge the norm and what's expected of her in that role."
But it seems the tide has turned for Katherine following the release of Meghan's Netflix series. The star didn't mince words when she discussed her changing opinions on her podcast, Telling Everybody Everything, as she accused Meghan of "lying", putting on an "act" and presenting a persona that was highly "manicured" and "forced".
Katherine expressed her past support but explained her current misgivings by saying: "I liked Meghan Markle. I was rooting for Meghan Markle... though she is very Hollywood - even for me - and I don't like that in people. I see now, and maybe it's just the projects she's choosing, it does feel like she has lied about whether she knew who Prince Harry was, and these details about her childhood change and don't add up."

But then in an old interview, she was like, "we would eat farm fresh". Her whole act just seems very manicured and very forced", reports the Mirror.
However, a second series of the show is on the way, while Meghan has announced the launch of a new podcast called Confessions Of A Female Founder.

It’s been two years since we last heard from Ted Lasso but the show is officially set to return for a fourth season. Apple TV announced the beloved character’s return on Friday. It stars Jason Sudeikis as an American coach of a U.K. soccer team and is based on a character he played in promos for NBC Sports. The series premiered in 2020 and went on to win seven Primetime Emmy Awards in its first three seasons. The series made stars of its supporting cast, including Brett Goldstein, Hannah Waddingham and Juno Temple. Sudeikis is hinting the new season will be about taking chances.
