Barron Trump's wildest conspiracy theories from time travel to insane height
Barron Trump, the youngest son of former US President Donald Trump, has been at the centre of some pretty out-there conspiracy theories over the years - and here are just a few
President-elect Donald Trump, 78, and First Lady Melania, 54, are set to return to Washington DC later this month. When they last resided in the White House, their son Barron was a mere 10 years old. Now, he's a freshman at New York University and living in Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan. Barron, Melania's only child and the youngest of Trump's five children, has been the subject of some wild conspiracy theories since his father's campaign for a second term in office.
With these theories re-emerging ahead of his father's presidential inauguration today (January 20), we've taken another look at the 'evidence' suggesting that the university student is a time traveller, as well as speculation about his actual height and age.

Time traveller theory
One of the most outlandish theories is that Barron is a time traveller, linked to a character in a series of 1800s novels about Little Baron Trump.
These children's books, penned by Ingersoll Lockwood in the late 19th Century, tell the tale of a wealthy young man residing in Castle Trump who embarks on a life-changing journey to Russia out of boredom with his opulent lifestyle. But there's more.
Along his journey, he's guided by a mysterious figure known as the Master of Masters, who reveals a portal allowing him to travel to other worlds. This mentor goes by the name Don Constantino Bartolomeo Strepholofidgeguaneriusfum - but the characters in the books simply refer to him as Don, reports the Mirror.
Before leaving his life of privilege, Baron is reminded of his family's motto - 'The pathway to glory is strewn with pitfalls and dangers'. The final novel doesn't feature Baron's character, but it's called The Last President, which is about a political outsider who is unexpectedly elected president-causing uproar.
The books were rediscovered in 2017 and studied by TikTok users who shared the parallels between Barron Trump and the character Baron Trump.
Why is Barron so tall?
With a former supermodel as a mother and a father who is 6ft2 tall, it made sense Barron would grow up to be tall.
However, his height started trending on Google when he was filmed and pictured alongside his parents during Trump's 2024 presidential campaigning as he towered over them. Some publications have reported that he's 6ft9 inches tall and stands tallest among the Trump family members, while others have stated that he's an estimated 6ft7.
Trump has previously spoken about his youngest son's incredible height and credited it to Melania's late mother, Amalia Knavs' cooking. He told spectators at his campaign HQ in Des Moines, Iowa, last year.
"That's how he got so tall; he only ate her food. I said you're gonna be a basketball player. He said, well, 'I like soccer, Dad,' actually. I thought... at your height, I like basketball better, but you can't talk them into everything.'"

What's his real age?
Trump made a bit of an oopsie in the press when his dad, former prez Donald Trump, got his age wrong on TV, saying he was 17 although he had already turned 18. When speaking to Telemundo 51 in Miami, Trump senior remarked about his youngest, "He's pretty young, I will say. He's 17."
Born on March 20, 2006, Barron spent his younger years in the family's lush New York City penthouse and attended swanky private schools up on the Upper West Side.
Unlike his older siblings Ivanka, Don Jr, Eric, and Tiffany, who're all mixed up in their dad's political saga, Barron has been kept out of the spotlight—until whispers started swirling about him and crypto.
Is he a crypto king?
These Twitter murmurs hinted that young Barron was dabbling in digital cash, and guess what?
His father confirmed it all on Rug Radio, spilling the beans that Barron's quite the crypto wiz kid. "Barron knows so much about [crypto]. He talks about his wallet. He's got four wallets or something. I say: 'What is a wallet? Explain this to me.'"
And then there was last summer's buzz—everyone thought Barron was the brain behind a meme coin named after his father. This coin soared to just under $400 mil in market cap before nosediving to zip.
But hold your horses—it's still just a rumour that hasn't been pinned down as fact.
