On her personal Instagram account, Sung opened up about her condition and shared that she had never experienced pyelonephritis before. Initially mistaking her symptoms for a herniated disc due to persistent back pain, she sought medical attention. However, after multiple hospital visits and an initial misdiagnosis of diverticulitis, she was eventually diagnosed with the infection. Unfortunately, by then, her condition had worsened.
I ended up making things worse by wasting time like a fool, and now I canât do anything.

She explained that while hospitalization and IV treatments would speed up her recovery, the reality of managing her household during the school break made it impossible for her to stay in the hospital.
Since this isnât a condition that heals quickly, hospitalization and IV treatments would speed up my recovery, but with school break happening, I just canât afford to be hospitalized right now.
Being sick has left my home in complete disarray, and my heart feels drained, so Iâll be taking a short break before I come back.
