Ben Affleck's Home Visited by FBI Agents After Wildfires Evacuation
Ben Affleck’s home was visited by FBI agents amid an investigation less than one week after he evacuated the property amid the wildfires in Los Angeles.
Ben Affleck’s home was visited by FBI agents after he was forced to evacuate amid the Los Angeles wildfires.
FBI agents and L.A. County sheriff deputies were spotted outside of Ben’s home in Brentwood, California, over the weekend, according to photos obtained by TMZ.
Sources told the outlet that law enforcement officers were in the area investigating an incident after a firefighting aircraft called the “super scooper” was damaged when a private drone collided with it. The aircraft was designed to help firefighters battle the wildfires that have rapidly spread around L.A.
It’s not currently known if the FBI agents were able to get in contact with Ben, 52, during their visit, though it was reported that he is not in any trouble with the law.
Ben’s home was visited by authorities after he evacuated his Pacific Palisades home due to the wildfires on January 8. At the time of his evacuation, the Gone Girl actor was photographed leaving his home in his vehicle as he rushed to ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s home.
The 13 Going on 30 star, 52, lives near Ben with their three children, and the home did not need to be evacuated at the time.
He was later seen returning to his home in photos published by The Daily Mail on January 9. Despite being forced to evacuate the home, Ben’s mansion was still standing and was seemingly unaffected by the fires.
Ben purchased the home in July 2024 for $20,500,000 in light of his divorce from ex-wife Jennifer Lopez. Jennifer, 55, filed for divorce in August 2024 after two years of marriage, and the former couple settled their divorce earlier this month.
The Good Will Hunting actor was not the only celebrity impacted by the wildfires, which began spreading last week. Anna Faris, Paris Hilton, Adam Brody and Leighton Meester and Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are among the stars that have lost their homes in the fires.

Meanwhile, Mandy Moore revealed that her and husband Taylor Goldsmith’s home was still partially intact after they had to evacuate with their three kids.
“Miraculously, the main part of our house is still standing. For now. It’s not livable but mostly intact. We lost Taylor and Griffin’s studio with every instrument and piece of equipment they’ve ever owned,” Mandy, 40, previously told fans in an Instagram Stories post. “We lost our garage and back house. Everyone we know lost everything.”
Mandy’s former This Us Us costar Milo Ventimiglia and his pregnant wife, Jarah Mariano, also lost their home to one of the fires. “It’s a kind of a shock moment where you go, this is real, this is happening and at a certain point you just turn it off,” he told CBS News, revealing he watched his home burn to the ground via security cameras. “What good is it to continue watching? We kind of accepted the loss.”
"You couldn’t do it now," admitted the actor and model.
