Big Brother's Sarah Griffiths took to Instagram to announce her engagement to boyfriend, Aled Morris, after he proposed on a wholesome walk in the countryside.
The 27-year-old star posted pics with her fiancé, sipping champagne and showing followers her diamond ring. Sarah, an account manager, was evicted from the reality TV house four days before the final in November. Fans have followed the star since on socials, where she hinted the proposal on Sunday with a video on TikTok.
In the TikTok, Sarah told viewers that partner Aled had arranged to celebrate their three years together with several planned activities for their three year anniversary, including a dog walk, which she joked was the perfect place for a proposal. She said: "I think I might be getting engaged today, no joke" to fans. "It's our three-year anniversary and Aled has booked loads of stuff, and he never does this".
She shared how they would begin with a walk, which would be "the ideal time, so hence I'm getting ready for a dog walk". The teasing tone was clearly a real suspicion as the star then prepared for engagement photos saying she'd stuck "stick-on nails last night, just in case for photos". Calling it "Dog-walking glam", Sarah was already sure of her answer and had her "fingers crossed!".

Sarah's instincts were on the mark as she followed her post with another TikTok video capturing the proposal during that same dog walk. The TikTok showed Sarah informing family and friends and even the "marital home" they are building as a couple.
The news attracted hundreds of well-wishers, including her Big Brother co-stars. Sarah's series winner Ali Bromley said: "Congrats Sarah"; Lily Benson typed "BLOODY NORA CONGRATS"; Rosie Williams, who is now dating housemate Nathan King, wrote: "BEST. NEWS. EVER!! So happy for you gorgeous".
Emma Morgan also took to the comments with a heartfelt message, excitably saying: "Well, well well, this is WONDERFUL news!! I can't believe Aled is going to make an honest woman of you!! No, I actually can't. I love you dearly and I'm beyond happy to see you so in love and excited for the future. Here we go nowwwww".
Prior to entering Big Brother in 2024, she said: "I am posh totty hottie, grew up on a chicken farm, and I think being an egg would be quite a nice life, because you're either getting smashed or getting laid". Sarah viewed Big Brother as an opportunity to "cut loose one last time before settling down" and shared that she had "a wonderful partner" and that they were "going to settle down and have kids".
After having her last "wow" life-experience with Big Brother, Sarah was true to her word and is now planning to settle down with her countryside fiancé for their happily ever after. Before leaving the competition, Sarah had said "the worst case scenario is that I still have an amazing life".
