Bill Burr Doesn’t Get How Elon Musk ‘Gives a Shout Out to Hitler’ and ‘Still Has a Job,’ Says Liberals ‘Had One Day of Outrage… and We Kind of Just Move On’
Bill Burr is baffled over Elon Musk giving a Nazi salute and yet still having a job and getting support from the American people.
Bill Burr‘s press tour for his new Hulu comedy special continued to be an Elon Musk takedown during an interview on “The Breakfast Club” radio show (via The Daily Beast), where the comedian said its baffling how Musk “still has a job” after giving the Nazi salute in public. Musk’s controversial hand gestures at an inauguration event for Donald Trump continue to anger Burr.
“What I don’t get is the amount of veterans, people in the armed services, that died to stop Hitler,” Musk said, confused about how Musk still has support. “Then this guy comes in, you know, and does that [salute], while being an immigrant too which is… the whole thing, none of it tracks. How you can be like support the troops — America love it or leave it — and then guy this comes in and gives a shoutout to Hitler.”
Burr stressed that his issue with Musk has nothing to do with politics and yet he’s always being “politicized” by both sides of the aisle.

“I’m not trashing Republicans. All Republicans did not Sieg Heil,” Burr said. “That guy did and I was just amazed that all liberals had was one day of outrage. Then they’re like, ‘Oh, I guess that didn’t work.’ And I guess we just kind of move on.”
Burr had a viral interview this week on NPR’s “Fresh Air” in which he ripped not only Musk for “evidently” being a Nazi but also liberals for their scared reaction to Musk’s growing political influence. He called Musk an “idiot” with “dyed hair plugs and a laminated face.”
“I just refuse to believe it was an accidental two-time Sieg Heil,” Burr said about Musk’s salute at Trump’s inauguration event.
“This is why I hate liberals,” Burr continued. “Liberals have no teeth whatsoever. They just go, ‘Oh my God, can you believe this? I’m getting out of the country!’ I’m just like, you’re gonna leave the country because of one guy with dyed hair plugs and a laminated face? Who makes a bad car and has an obsolete social media platform? Why doesn’t he leave? Why are we so afraid of this guy who can’t fight his way out of a wet paper bag?”
Burr’s latest comedy special, “Drop Dead Years,” is now available to stream on Hulu.
