Birds Eye has urgently recalled Goodfella’s Stonebaked Thin Garlic Bread over fears it could spark an allergic reaction.
A small number of packs have accidentally been packed with a garlic bread that contains cheese - which means they pose a health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk. The affected food was only sold in Co-op stores and has the batch code 5020 and best before date of December 2025.
If you have purchased on the these, and you have an intolerance to milk, you should return it to the store where you bought it from for a full refund. Alternatively, you can take a photo of the batch code and send it to https://contactus.goodfellaspizzas.com/s/. You can also cut out the part of the box that shows the batch code and send it to: Birds Eye Limited Freepost, ADM3939, London, SW1A 1YS.

For all product recalls, you can check the Food Standards Agency and Chartered Trading Standards Institute websites. You should also notice recall notices in stores if they've pulled a product from shelves. Other recalls you should be aware of include Marks and Spencer pulling some chicken products over fears they could be contaminated with salmonella.
The recall notice only applies to Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland stores, and relates to M&S Southern Fried Chicken Burgers and 2x Chicken Kievs. The use by dates for the chicken burgers that are included in the recall are January 26, 2025, January 30, 2025, January 31, 2025 and February 1, 2025, while the barcode number is 29147168.
