Blake Lively faces yet another lawsuit in the ongoing It Ends With Us legal drama. The 37-year-old is being sued for defamation by the owner of a crisis firm named in her lawsuit and civil rights complaint against Justin Baldoni.
On Feb. 4, 2025, Jed Wallace, the owner of Street Relations, filed a multi-million dollar defamation lawsuit in federal court in Texas, per Variety. Wallace was previously accused in Livelyâs lawsuit and civil rights complaint. Of what? Mobilizing a âdigital armyâ against her as part of Baldoniâs supposed online smear campaign.Â
Wallace denied the allegations in his lawsuit stating he had ânothing to do withâ the alleged smear campaign against Lively. The lawsuit seeks a declaratory judgment absolving Wallace of liability as well as a minimum of $6 million in punitive damages.Â
Wallace was previously named in text messages included in Livelyâs legal filing. He was mentioned in conversations between members of Baldoniâs PR team in reference to a âshift on socialâ and also described as a âhired gun.âÂ

Wallaceâs lawsuit is the fifth to be filed relating to Lively and Baldoniâs It Ends With Us legal drama. Before Wallace took legal action, Baldoniâs publicists, Jen Abel and Melissa Nathan, filed a defamation complaint, along with others, against Lively and others.Â
Abel, Nathan, and the rest of the claimants alleged their lives were turned âupside down.â Furthermore that theyâd become âobjects of public scornâ because theyâd been accused of carrying out an alleged smear campaign.Â
In December 2024, the Gossip Girl alum accused Baldoni of sexual harassment on the It Ends With Us set. She also alleged he and his team orchestrated a smear campaign against her. What began as a civil rights complaint became a multi-million dollar lawsuit.Â
Baldoni countersued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, alleging defamation. Now theyâre headed to court in March 2026. That is if the trial date doesnât get moved up. A judge has already said it could happen after behind-the-scenes video footage, voice notes, and more.Â

So, how have Livelyâs lawyers reacted to the latest development in the legal drama? Her team has called it a retaliatory measure. âAnother day, another state, another nine-figure lawsuit seeking to sue Ms. Lively âinto oblivionâ for speaking out against sexual harassment and retaliation,â they said.Â
âThis is not just a publicity stunt. It is transparent retaliation in response to allegations contained within a sexual harassment and retaliation complaint that Ms. Lively filed with the California Civil Rights Department.âÂ
âWhile this lawsuit will be dismissed, we are pleased that Mr. Wallace has finally emerged from the shadows, and that he too will be held accountable in federal court,â they concluded.Â
