On December 28, the 2024 APAN Star Awards were held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul.
The APAN Star Awards is South Koreaâs only integrated drama awards ceremony, honoring content from all platforms (including public broadcast network, cable, OTT, and web dramas). Dramas that aired between November 2023 and October 2024 were eligible for this yearâs awards.
Kim Tae Ri won the Daesang (Grand Prize) for her performance in âJeongnyeon: The Star is Born,â which also won the award for Best Drama.
Meanwhile, this yearâs Top Excellence Awards went to Ji Chang Wook (for âWelcome to Samdalriâ), Lee Ha Nee (âKnight Flowerâ), and âBeauty and Mr. Romanticâ stars Ji Hyun Woo and Im Soo Hyang.
âLovely Runnerâ stars Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon won both of this yearâs Popularity Awards, and they also took home the award for Best Couple. Additionally, Byeon Woo Seok claimed this yearâs Global Star Award, while his âLovely Runnerâ band Eclipse won Best Original Soundtrack (OST) for their hit song âSudden Shower.â
Notably, three actors from âDoubtâ won Best New Actor and Actress awards this year: Chae Won Bin, Roh Jae Won, and Kim Jung Jin all went home with rookie awards.
