Britain's Got Talent fans fume 'fix' as first live semi-final winner confirmed
The first live semi-final of ITV's Britain's Got Talent has taken place with a new twist and it but not all fans were happy with the result
Britain's Got Talent fans were left disgruntled following the announcement of the winner of the first live semi-final on Saturday, April 26.
Overall, the show proved eventful with hosts Ant and Dec announcing that one contestant, Teddy Magic, would not be performing and a technical blunder caused another act to take to the stage later than planned.
And at the end of the night when it was announced that Scottish singer Vinnie McKee had received the highest number of audience votes, earning him a place in the final, not all viewers were happy with some calling it a "fix".
Vinnie beat Linda Mudzenda and Eden Choi, who took second and third places respectively, while dance troupe The Blackouts received the coveted golden buzzer from Amanda Holden, securing their spot straight through to the grand final.
Vinnie appeared gobsmacked to have won telling Ant and Dec: "This is mad, this is crazy!" And viewers were quick to take to social media to issue their complaints with many believing that Linda should have won.
