BTSâs Jin is soaring to new heights on Spotify with his first solo album!
On November 15, Jin achieved his biggest solo debut yet on Spotify with âRunning Wild,â the title track of his new album âHappy.â
âRunning Wildâ debuted at No. 8 on Spotifyâs daily Global Top Songs chart after racking up an impressive 4,936,542 streams on the first day of its releaseâmarking a new personal record for Jin as a soloist.
The entry is now Jinâs highest solo ranking to date on Spotifyâs global chart, beating his pre-release single âIâll Be Thereâ (which debuted at No. 9 last month).
All of Jinâs songs from âHappyâ succeeded in entering Spotifyâs daily Global Top Songs chart: in addition to âRunning Wildâ and âIâll Be Thereâ (which stayed strong at No. 20), âHeart on the Windowââhis duet with Red Velvetâs Wendyâdebuted at No. 99, âAnother Levelâ at No. 106, âFallingâ at No. 115, and âI will come to youâ at No. 124.
âRunning Wildâ also debuted at No. 1 on Oriconâs daily digital singles chart in Japan, where all of the tracks from âHappyâ made it into the top 20. âFallingâ entered the chart at No. 9, followed by âIâll Be Thereâ at No. 11, âHeart on the Windowâ at No. 14, âI will come to youâ at No. 15, and âAnother Levelâ at No. 17.
Additionally, Jin achieved his highest solo first-day sales to date with âHappy.â According to Hanteo Chart, âHappyâ sold an impressive total of 852,409 copies on the first day of its releaseâbreaking Jinâs previous first-day sales record of 770,126 set by his 2022 solo single âThe Astronaut.â
