Bronx off-duty traffic agent busted for leaving scene of accident: NYPD

Robin Artis, 27, stepped out of the car to look over the damage, but when the other motorist said they wanted to call 911, Artis said “I’m NYPD” and drove off, officials said.
An off-duty city traffic enforcement agent was arrested for leaving the scene of a Bronx accident, but not after telling the motorist she rammed into that she was “NYPD,” police said Friday.Robin Artis, 27, was grabbed by police Thursday for the July 17 accident at E. 189th St. and Cambreleng Ave. in Belmont.Artis allegedly rear-ended a double-parked car with its hazards flashing, breaking a rear reflector light and leaving some scratches, cops said.She stepped out of the car to look over...
