CBB fans say it's 'starting to make sense' as Daley Thompson's tweets resurface
Fans of Celebrity Big Brother have pointed out Olympian Daley Thompson past social media comments as they think a feud with one of his fellow housemates could be brewing
Fans of Daley Thompson believe they have uncovered a feud in the house already despite the show only being days old. Viewers of the hit ITV reality series believe there could be unrest brewing between Olympian Daley Thompson and RuPaul Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard - and pointed to his past comments as an 'explanation'.
Danny made an unforgettable entrance into the famous house on Monday, where he was greeted by his new housemates while in drag. A mere few hours after entering the house, Danny seemingly had an unwanted reception from Daley, who made a comment to him that sent his head into a spin.

Article continues belowDanny confided in comedian and actress Donna Preston as he described the situation. He told the star that earlier in the living room they mistakenly thought Mickey Rourke was selecting them and Daley said to Danny: "Not everything is about you".
Danny told Donna: "Iâm overthinking it. Iâm gonna totally make an effort with him tomorrow, thatâs it." However, he went on to admit in the diary room: "I think Iâve tried to make an effort with everybody, but I heard Daley make a comment like âwell not everything revolves around youâ and, I donât know if Iâm overthinking itâŚ

"I can sense or I feel like heâs a bit wary of me and thatâs fine cause maybe Iâm also a little bit wary of him."
Fans noticed the continued tension, despite Danny trying to brush it off and now think resurfaced posts by Daley could offer an insight.
In response to JK Rowling, who has been embroiled in a string of public anti-transgender rows, calling out a comment by transgender broadcaster India Willoughby on Twitter/X last year, Daley wrote: "JK, if I maybe so familiar, I do wonder why you give them the oxygen they are so desperate for but I am so so glad you do. Itâs a kick in the balls every time."

A previous comment in April 2024, also to a JK Rowling post, saw Daley say "you cannot take a knife to a gunfight" when discussing genders.
A year earlier, he posted a sarcastic image of himself wearing a "Real Women's Day" t-shirt. He captioned his upload: "I would really like to join the Real womenâs day as my kids got me this t-shirt. Good luck with that speech and turn up the megaphone!"

Fans think these type of comments might show Danny "isn't overreacting at all" following the run-in.
One user wrote: "With the transphobic tweets resurfacing from Daley it doesn't surprise me he is making snarky comments to Danny and I don't think Danny is overreacting at all #cbbuk"
Another added: "Ah itâs all starting to make sense. Daley can go first. #CBBUK," while a third agreed: "now unsurprised about his comments about @âthedannybeard get daley out!!"
