Camila Cabello Went Viral For Performing In 'Empty Arena' — And Now The Internet Says She’s A ‘Flop’
"Why do some singers do this?" one fan asked.
Camila Cabello performed in a nearly empty arena at a festival over the weekend, and it caused a stir on the internet.
After a photo of the singer performing in a largely bare venue at the AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! Concert in Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday went viral, social media users on X, formerly Twitter, shared their thoughts about the “embarrassing” moment.

“That shit was EMPTY,” one person wrote, referring to the artist as a “flop.”
Another person questioned, “why do some singers do this? if you know u cant sell arenas why do them? isnt it just extra costs for no reason and embarrassment?”
“Lil wayne being there the day before and it was packed.. it’s just embarrassing i’m crying,” someone else wrote.
Other X users defended the former Fifth Harmony member, clarifying that Cabello’s performance wasn’t solely her show and was among a string of performances during the College Football Playoff National Championship weekend.

Meanwhile, a desolate arena wasn’t the only thing drawing attention at Cabello’s Jan. 19 performance, where she performed songs off her latest album including “I Luv It” and “Chanel No. 5.”
