Can You Guess Meghan Markle's First Job?
Meghan Markle shared that her first job was at Humphrey Yogarts in her 'With Love, Meghan' show. She also worked at Little Orbit Donuts.
Meghan Markleâs new lifestyle show âWith Love, Meghanâ premiered on March 4, 2025. The lifestyle show debuted on Netflix â and season two is already slated for fall 2025! At the top of episode three, the Duchess of Sussex is seen making donuts, which triggered some sweet memories for the 43-year-old actress.
âI once had a job at a donut shop called Little Orbit Donuts,â she said, according to People.
In the same episode, viewers learn that Markleâs grandmother worked at an ice cream shop as well. Markle also shared that her first job was at an ice cream shop at 13 years old.
âMy first job was at Humphrey Yogarts,â she said.
Later on in the episode, Markle is seen making chef Roy Choiâs famous chicken wings. In an interview with People, Choi talked about his experience working with Markle on her new show.
âShe was great. This wasnât an act, you know? This is something she truly loves to do,â he said. âShe was very natural in the kitchen. She knows how to welcome people â thatâs a big part of cooking too.â
He added, âSheâs the Duchess of Sussex, but before that she was Meghan from L.A., from Immaculate Heart High School. I could see the genuineness in her, like before her whole life changed. Sheâs Meghan from the block.â
Shortly after its debut, âWith Love, Meghanâ skyrocketed to Netflixâs U.S. top ten list.
âIf youâre loving Season 1, just wait until you see the fun we cooked up on Season 2!,â Markle wrote in a celebratory Instagram post. âThanks for joining the party, and an endless thanks to the amazing team and crew who helped bring it all to life!â
During an interview at a bookstore called Godmothers, Markle opened up about taking her passion to the next level and how fulfilling itâs been to navigate, according to The Daily Beast.
âEvery day, Iâm learning so much as a founder. Iâm taking baby steps and big strides at the same time, making mistakes and learning from them, and really working to find all the joy while diving into the creative process and the business,â she said. âThereâs something energizing about being in my 40s and turning my passion project into a business â and sharing that with the world.â

In honor of International Womenâs Day 2025, Markle shared a never-before-seen photo of her 3-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet via an Instagram post. In the photo, Princess Lilibet is seen sitting in a boat with Prince Harry as he kisses the top of her head.
âHappy International Womenâs Day!â Markle captioned her Instagram post. âCelebrating the strong women around us & the girls with dreams who will become women with vision. Also thanking those who uplift us every day.â
Markle also shared a throwback, black-and-white photo of herself and her mother Doria Ragland.
