Carrie Underwood, Snoop Dogg and Nelly have faced backlash for agreeing to perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration party and related events.

Other artists set to perform for the President-elect include Kid Rock, Billy Ray Cyrus, Village People, and Jason Aldean.

Critics declared that Underwood was “cancelled” and called out her “gross” and “disappointing” decision to “support” Trump.

“Really really gross what you are doing. Definitely lost my respect and any future listens,” one wrote on the country music singer’s recent Instagram post.

“No interest in watching you ever again. What a disappointment. And yes, that’s a Reflection on you and your true values,” another added.

“You showing support for this clown has been a huge gut punch and I am just so disappointed. No thanks,” a third posted.

Others chimed in, “Carrie is cancelled,” and, “Not the choice that protects & respects women… or yourself.”

Underwood also upset many LGBTQ+ fans, having previously spoken out in support of gay marriage.

“Don’t ever call yourself an LGBTQ ally again, you’re supporting the man that wants to abolish LGBTQ rights, you should be ashamed,” one wrote on Instagram.

Underwood, who did not publicly endorse any candidate ahead of the 2024 presidential election, will be joined by the Armed Forces Choir and the United States Naval Academy Glee Club for her performance.

She will take to the stage after Vice President JD Vance takes his Oath of Office and before Trump takes the Presidential Oath of Office.

Nelly also came under fire for agreeing to perform at the Inaugural Liberty Ball, but defended himself against critics, insisting he is performing for the “honour” regardless of who was elected.

“I didn’t know that I had to agree with your political choices. If you follow what I do, this shouldn’t even be an argument. He is the president. He won,” the rapper, 50, said on the Willie D Live podcast.

“I’m not doing this for money. I’m doing this because it’s an honor. I respect the office. It don’t matter who is in office.

“The same way our brothers and sisters go to war to put their life on the line for whoever is in office. So, if they can put their life on the line for whoever is in office, I can damn sure perform for whoever is in office.”

Fans called out Nelly’s explanation, with one writing: “Respecting the office is one thing, but ignoring the harm caused by the person in it is another. Accountability matters.”

Another added: “Sooooo you did it for the money. Got it.”

The rapper - whose birth name is Cornell Iral Haynes Jr - called out Trump back in 2017.

“You know the thing about Donald Trump is that I liked Donald Trump, I did, I just don’t like Donald Trump as my president,” he previously told Page Six.

“He doesn’t surprise me as a person, he surprises me as a president because you don’t expect certain things, certain attitudes.”

Elsewhere, Snoop Dogg, 53, faced widespread outrage after he was filmed performing at the first ever Crypto Ball on Friday in celebration of Trump’s inauguration.

“What the F**K@snoopdogg? Traitorous bulls**t,” one critic raged on instagram.

“I have deleted all Snoop dogg songs from my playlists. I have blocked him from my accounts. I will not listen to his music after i found out that he will be there to perform for the traitors on Monday…” another added.

The Drop It Like It’s Hot rapper performed at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington D.C., with tickets ranging from $2,500 to $5,000 apiece.

Snoop backtracked on his outspoken views on Trump last year, telling The Times: “Donald Trump? He ain’t done nothing wrong to me. He has done only great things for me.”

He referred to Trump pardoning collaborator Michael Harris, who had been in prison for drugs charges, and said: “So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”
