Celebrities' 2025 Valentine's Day Posts That Were Full Of Red Flags - Glam
Being "Instagram official" has long been an indicator of how serious a relationship is, but posts can be telling on Valentine's Day, too. Just ask Kylie Jenner.

Valentine's Day is supposed to be all about love, but some celebrity Instagram posts left us with more questions than "awwws" this year. Of course, some couples went all out with adorable posts that felt perfectly in sync. For instance, musicians Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton absolutely nailed the art of sharing equally adorable moments that made us swoon. But others? Let's just say that their Valentine's Day energy felt a little off this year â at least online.

Whether it was a suspiciously staged photo or a mysteriously missing Instagram grid post, some celebrity couples didn't exactly give us relationship goals this holiday. From royals playing it a bit too safe to Hollywood pairs leaving us very confused, here are the 2025 Valentine's Day posts that are full of red flags (and left us wondering if love was really in the air after all).
Justin Bieber shared an Instagram post while Hailey only posted on her story
Lately, rumors about Justin and Hailey Bieber's romance fizzling out have been swirling. From the model sharing cryptic messages on her Instagram stories (one of which read, "I am imperfect, I have been rejected, I still have purpose") to the "Yummy" singer allegedly unfollowing â and then quickly refollowing â his wife this January, things have been looking a little rocky. Sadly, their Valentine's Day tributes on Instagram aren't exactly helping their case.

While Justin shared a grid post filled with candid couple moments, captioned, "HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY FROM THE BIEBERS," in all caps (because nothing says true love like shouting it at the internet), Hailey didn't add one to her grid. Instead, she kept things low-key by simply resharing Justin's post on her Instagram stories. While this may not seem like a big deal, posting on your main feed is generally believed to signal a stronger commitment, and with all the rumors swirling, you'd think Hailey would want to shut them down with an adorable post of her own.
Last year, we spoke to matchmaker Susan Trombetti, who shared with us a few red flags in Justin and Hailey Bieber's relationship. One of them was that the couple seems to struggle with media scrutiny. "They are in the public eye, and everyone is watching them constantly. ... This is difficult for anyone," she shared exclusively with Glam. After spending so many years in the spotlight, Hailey should know that the public would dissect her approach to Valentine's Day posting, but it seems like she couldn't care less.

TimothĂ©e Chalamet posted on Valentine's Day â but not about Kylie Jenner
Anyone who's been keeping up with TimothĂ©e Chalamet and Kylie Jenner's relationship knows that the two stars have been ultra-private about their love. We've seen them share the occasional smooch at events where Jenner supports her Hollywood A-lister boyfriend, but other than that â and a couple of casual, normal-people dates (you know, just chill outings like the US Open and a BeyoncĂ© concert) â we don't really see much of them. They also generally avoid talking about each other.

Because of this, nobody really expected them to bless us with an Instagram photo dump on Valentine's Day, but we still couldn't help but find it a little odd that Chalamet posted pictures of himself attending the "A Complete Unknown" premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival on February 14 with the caption "HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY" with two pink heart emojis but no mention of Jenner. It's not like we don't know they're dating â they even publicly kissed at the event.
Celebrity love coach and body language expert Nicole Moore previously pointed out some red flags in Kylie and TimothĂ©e's relationship to us, and one of them perfectly fits their Valentine's Day radio silence. "In the past, Kylie has posted pictures with her significant other on social media often," Moore exclusively explained to us, adding that Jenner also didn't post about Chalamet on Valentine's Day in 2024 â and a big reason could be that the actor has asked her to keep things private. "One has to wonder if she would have preferred to go all out and share a heartfelt post like she's done for past boyfriends. If Kylie is changing her social media habits simply to appease TimothĂ©e, that's a red flag," she told us.

Prince William and Kate Middleton tried to evoke fairy-tale love but we saw right through it
While there have been signs that Kate Middleton and Prince William's relationship is stronger than ever amid her cancer diagnosis, their 2025 Valentine's Day Instagram post didn't give us much of that. We get it â they're royals. But it's 2025 now, and a slightly more personal approach to the post would have gone a long way, especially to reassure fans that everything is fine behind closed doors.

Instead, we got a polished, ultra-staged professional photo of the two enjoying a picnic (with their photographer clearly lurking close to them). A casual selfie would have done so much more. It would have shown us that, at the end of the day, they're just two people in love, like the rest of us. But hey, there's always 2026, right?
Lauren SĂĄnchez posted a pic of Jeff Bezos in work mode, but all we saw was red
While Amazon founder Jeff Bezos doesn't seem to be a fan of publicly posting about his love â he doesn't have an official Instagram, and his account on X, formerly known as Twitter, seems to be reserved for more serious matters â his fiancĂ©e, Lauren SĂĄnchez, decided to give him a little Valentine's Day shoutout on her Instagram stories. However, instead of opting for a more recent picture, she reshared a post from January 2024 and simply wrote, "Happy Valentine's Day, my love."

Sure, the fact that Bezos seems like someone who works around the clock might make this understandable at first, but we can't help but wonder if his relationship with SĂĄnchez takes a hit because of it. Even though SĂĄnchez praised his work in the original Instagram post, it's a little sad that she didn't seem to have any fresh, personal moments to share â only business-mogul Bezos, as always.
Are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on the same page when it comes to Valentine's Day posting?
Prince William and Kate Middleton have some serious red-flags competition within their own family this year because Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn't fool us, either. Meghan posted a black-and-white photo of the two exchanging a kiss over dinner with a heartfelt caption, and while there's nothing overtly alarming about this at first glance, things start to look a little different when you remember that Harry doesn't even have an Instagram account and seems to prefer a more private life. Knowing that makes it hard to believe that he would have chosen to share this moment himself. Now, don't get us wrong; it's a beautiful post, but it does raise some questions.

A post shared by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (@meghan)
Back in November 2024, we talked to celebrity love coach Nicole Moore, who shared with us a few potential red flags in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship. "Meghan appears to thrive in the California sun, surrounded by powerful Hollywood friends while Prince Harry appears more ill at ease in the spotlight," she exclusively told Glam. "As Meghan was an actress before marrying Harry, she likely had a strong desire to live more of a Hollywood life while for Prince Harry, it appears that he's acquiescing to Meghan's dreams rather than them being his own." While this doesn't have to mean anything catastrophic, it's hard to ignore how this Valentine's Day post fits into the pattern. "When couples have very different desires for the kind of life they want to lead, it's almost always a huge red flag," Moore added.
